General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As the x-ray is normal, at present there is no issue to get disturbed and have to continue analgesic and anti-inflammatory medications prescribed by your doc for suspected ligament or muscle pull.

* Over and above it, assisted physiotherapy with local application of heating pad, analgesic spray or ointment will help great deal.

* Later on as per the progress there may be a need of an MRI of the thigh if the consultant feels that pain is persistent and not responding to the usual line of therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
