What Causes Persistent Pelvic Pain Even After Uterus Polyps Removal?

I had my left ovary removed. They also removed cysts in my right ovary and polyps in my uterus. However, the initial symptoms that sent me to the gynecologist still exists. I have lower pelvic/back/side pain. Nausea and bouts of throbbing pain. My surgery was 4 days ago. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The persistence of the symptoms calls for a review of the situation clinically and also may need a sonogram. Intraoperative tissue handling can sometimes give rise to such pain. Also, involvement of the vertebral column as a cause of the symptoms should be excluded.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam
