What Causes Persistent Productive Cough Along With Nose Bleeds?
I ve been coughing for about 3 days with lots of phlegm. Two days ago less phlegm more dry raspy. Today I bent over to pick something up and had a thin like watery discharge run out of my nose like a nose bleed. It was slightly brownish. Like tea colored. Its sticky after a min Is that something I should be concerned with
Based on the medical history you provided the fluid you described can be case of cerebrospinal fluid leak. It is usually clear in color though but with bouts of cough an increase in intracranial pressure could happen and tear in the brain covering might result. This can lead to headaches and infections depending on the severity.
I recommend that you see if that happens often when you bend to things up. If it does you need to get it checked by a neurologist. They will test the fluid first to determine if it is CSF and then run a CT or better MRI to test for the severity of the leak.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ahmad Nazzal, General & Family Physician
