What Causes Persistent Rancid Chemical Smell And Taste?

I have been experiencing a rancid chemical smell and taste for months. Soaps, shampoo, air freshness, cleaners even tooth paste and mouthwash make me gag. I can not eat fruit or fruit flavors anymore due to metallic and chemical taste. What can cause this. I have been treated for sinus infection with no results.
