General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may take a few weeks before the symptoms after a viral infection of the throat completely go away. As long as your child is not having fever, she is active and playful and eating well there is nothing to worry about.

If she is not any better in another week or she develops any fever or is tired and not active and not eating well, she will need another check with her doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
