What Causes Persistent Shoulder Pain Post A Vaccination Shot?

Hi, I received a vaccination about a week and a half ago and I still have pretty severe pain in my shoulder. It wakes me up at night, and simple talks such as opening doors and putting on a shirt are very painful. Is it time to see my medical provider?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Faulty technique of intramuscular vaccine can cause damage to nerves and abscess (infection) formation.
And both of them cause similar kind of pain.
So better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination of vaccine site.
Ice application will be helpful.
Painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs will also give relief from pain.
If it is nerve damage then pregabalin will also beneficial.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
