What Causes Persistent Sore Throat, Mood Swings And Fatigue In A Child?

My 7 year old daughter looks tired and pale, very washed out..she has complained of a sore throat for 7 weeks. Doctor has gave her antibiotics 4 days ago but she is still saying her throat is sore. She also seems moody and has lost interest in school. Any ideas? Thank s

You can try home remedies for sore throat like honey, salt water gargling, steam inhalation, sipping warm water with lemon. As mood swings and pale look is concerned she may be anemic so would suggest you to get her hemoglobin level tested. Also with antibiotic usage one becomes tired and restless due to fatigue and hunger. It would help her if she has yogurt and buttermilk in her diet.
