What Causes Persistent Swelling In The Legs?

I was sent home to pass a small kidney stone 1 week ago. The pain went away. I never found the stone in my urine, but assume I have passed it. Yet, there is moderate swelling that remains in my legs and feet. I still don t pee as much as I used to. When should I expect the swelling to go away?

Hi,

In my opinion, the cause of swelling is different than kidney stones. It could be due to blood pressure, hypertension or some other cause. I suggest you consult a doctor - a family physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
