What Causes Persistent Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck Post A Tonsillectomy?
Hello I am a 30 yr old female. I had my tonsils out almost ten years ago. Ever since my tonsilicitamy my left side of my neck has a large swollen lymph node that never went down. It doesn t hurt and has never changed but I don t know if I should be worried or go see an ENT again?

Hello,
It is due to local infection and inflammatory change. A short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav can be started for five to seven days.
Do warm saline gargles. If the swelling persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
