What Causes Persistent Throat Infection?

I have had persistent throat infections the Last 4 months the latest experience began today and I had the flue and 2 separate colds one after the other 2 weeks ago. It responded to antibiotics but Keep coming back eventually progressing into the Staten tube which take a couple of months to Clear

* As per my clinical experience, there can be various reasons for persistent or recurrent throat infection are:

- immune deficiency as T and B cell malfunctioning
- inadequately treated previous infections
- drug resistant bacteria
- polymicrobiological origin
- uncontrolled diabetes
- absence of lymphatic tissue or lymph nodes, tonsil
- continuous smoking
- exposure to atmospheric pollen, dust, animal dander causing allergic congestion
- others
