Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the tremor can be part of withdrawal to alcohol but persists sprain caused after the tremor in neck muscles can be due to muscle spasms triggered by abnormal jerky movement during tremors however detailed evaluation should be done to rule out any underlying epilepsy and EEG and brain imaging may be needed if so.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
