What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding Post UTI Treatment?

Hi i have one question, Well i had an STD it was chlamidya, but i cure it. it was months ago like on july.. i recently had sexual Relationships like 2months ago, after that i started getting a yellow discharge.. and I went to the doctor they told me i had a UTI, they gave me pills that im recently taking them and my period didnt come for like one month And my period usually is not regular.. and Now that im taking the pills my period none stop bleeding for 13 days now, and Usually it lasts a week.. but im worried because i dont know if is the pills or.. cause it does not stop coming..

Antibiotics for urinary tract infection may not be responsible for your bleeding. The possible causes of your problem are:

-Delayed periods leading to thickened endometrium and excessive bleeding.
-Possibility of pregnancy and miscarriage
- Hormonal imbalance
-Local causes like cervical polyp, fibroids etc.

So, as you are having excessive bleeding since 13 days you please consult your Gynecologist once get examined and undergo ultrasound to find out the possible cause of the problem and take treatment accordingly.
