What Causes Persistent Vaginal Spotting Despite Taking Unwanted 72?

I and my husband had sex after my period was over. There was a little contact , and to be safe side I took unwanted-72 within 72 hours of our sexual contact. There was no ejaculation inside. I had my last period on 2 feb and after taking the pill I had been continously experiencing some spotting. And now I have again got my period on 21 feb. I am not sure it is period or is it just due to the pill. Please help me out. Is it normal?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think it is side effects of unwanted 72 as it causes hormonal imbalance.

Following are the side effects of unwanted 72:
Spotting/irregular period
Nausea or vomiting
Dizziness
Fatigue
Headache
Breast tenderness
Lower abdominal pain or cramps

Also note other causes of vaginal spotting:
PCOS
Ovulation
Contraceptive pillls
Vaginal infection
Pelvic inflammatory disease
Thyroid problem
Cervical /uterine polyp
Endometriosis

If not resolves, consult the gynecologist and undergo following test for diagnosis:
USG
Hormonal analysis
Endometrium biopsy
Ovarian follicle study
Hysteroscopy
PAP smear
