What Causes Persisting Sore Throat And Headaches?

I started to get a headache last night (mild to moderate) and persists today (actions like coughing make it hurt suddenly), a sore throat started during the night and persists today (mild to moderate), my right hand side gland in my neck is slightly swollen and hurts to the touch, I feel weak and unsteady walking, I would characterize my head as feeling very funny and dizzy . Pretty sure I have a common cold starting, but am a bit concerned about the weakness and dizziness.

Hi.
This is due to sinusitis for sure as your headache is aggravated by coughing also.
The Pharyngitis could have been a co-existing problem or appeared due to sinusitis , the pus flowing down the throat can cause this.

The gland is also secondary to the infection in the drainage area.
The septicemia and bacterimia can cause all the other symptoms including weakness and dizziness.

You need to really take a rigorous course of broad spectrum antibiotics, nasal - topical and oral decongestants, anti-inflammatory medicines, Bed rest.

Ct scan of the sinuses to confirm the diagnosis and Blood and urine tests to see the level of infection.
