What Causes Petechiae On The Hands Along With Night Sweats?
I have been experiencing the following symptoms, petichiae on the top of both forearms and hands only, has happened twice within 1 month. appears, then goes away after 2-3 days night sweats-wake up and shirt is wet from sweating in my sleep, sometimes wakes me up dull intermittent headaches- can have a headache for 2 days straight with little relief w/ over counter drugs lack of appetite general fatigue-no motivation to do anything, get about 5-6 hours a night for sleep-restless sometimes due to restless legs mood swings daily acid reflux I m wanting to know if you agree with the findings on web md symptom checker and if i should schedule an appointment to see a physician? Dear possibility of petechiae on hands are may be due to allergy to skin irritants or thrombocytopenia or viral fever may present like headache and petechiae. Also possible that you may be suffering from major depressive disorder, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please check for your blood pressure, platelet count, hemoglobin, viral markers, etc. Apply moisturizing cream locally. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
