Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain experienced at the base of spine while sitting down requires examination of the concerned area.
Initially, a clinical examination is required to assess the condition of the overlying skin.
This has to be followed by imaging studies like X-ray and MRI to look for the condition of vertebra and the surrounding soft tissues.
Further management can be planned after clinical assessment and imaging studies.
You can consult your primary healthcare provider initially.

Thanks and take care
