What Causes Pimple On Ear Canal And Plugged Ears?

a few months back, I had a pimple, or cyst show up on the edge of my ear canal. It swelled up badly popped and healed. However, ever since then, for some time now my ear has been feeling as if it is plugged. I can hear fine, but now it has started thumping inside and it s driving me crazy. It seems as if it s twitching inside or something. I am an audio engineer so it worries me tremendously...

Hello,

You probably need your ear canal to be cleaned properly as there could be some debri or residue of pimple or cyst which you mentioned.

General advise:

1. Don't wash with water or like things
2. don't itch or scratch in the ear with handy things
3. don't instill any home remedies or propritory ear preparation without proper physical consultation with an ENT surgeon.
