What Causes Pimple On The Back With Green Colored Pus?

I have a pimple like bump on my back that oozes bright green puss & seems to be very deep, have not been able to get a core to come out. My wife will squeeze on it til it stops oozing then 15 mins later there is more coming out. This is the second time in the last year this has happened & I believe it is the same place as before. Last time it took over a week before a core came out & it finally healed. What is this & how do you stop it from reoccurring ?
