Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I can understand you concern and frustration over acne. You seem to have inflammatory acne along with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Topical treatment can be in the form of Topical Antibacterials like Benzoyl peroxide gel/Clindamycin gel for day time application and Topical Retinoids e.g Adapalene gel for night application.

Retinoids are comedolytic, antiinflammatory in nature. They would prevent new acne formation as well as also lighten the post-acne hyperpigmentation.

Oral antibiotics work well for inflammatory acne and bring about rapid control. These can be doxycycline or azithromycin or minocycline. I would suggest that you consult a dermatologist if you have inflammatory acne (papules and pustules) and get a prescription for oral antibiotics.

Once your acne is well controlled, you could use a cream/gel containing one or more of the skin lightening ingredients e.g kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid etc to gradually lighten the post acne spots.

Along with the oral and topical treatment, you could also take a few peeling sessions from a dermatologist, for faster improvement of acne and hyperpigmentation

Regards
