What Causes Pimples While Undergoing Laser Treatment For Facial Hair?
hey this is radha and i am undergoing laser treatment for my facial hair growth and they have asked me to use hhderm creme and that has caused lot of pimples on my face and another skin specialist says that the creme is a steroid and it agrrevates hai growth. is it true??
HHDerm cream is a topical potent steroid, Mometasone furoate and it is commonly used after a Laser procedure to get over the redness and burning sensation. However, it ought to be used just once or twice. It should never be used regularly.
If used regularly it can cause steroid related side effects like Acne, Photosensitivity, Skin thinning and telangiectases and facial hair growth (specially worrisome in females) etc.
I would suggest that you discontinue with its regular use.
Although it can be used just once or twice, post procedure, to overcome the redness if need be OR else you can just use some ice for mild post procedure redness.
