What Causes Pin Prick Sensation In The Groin Area?

Yes my son is 24 and he is experiencing a sensitive area in groin the size of a silver dollar. It starts out as tingling then the area becomes sensitive like pin pricks when clothes rub it. Never forms a blister he has tested negative for genitle herpies. Could it be jock itch or maybe even shingles?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal infection. Using clotrimazole or miconazole cream for local application will be helpful. If no improvement after 2 weeks then a dermatology consultation should be done.
Thanks.
