What Causes Pinched Nerve Feeling Inside The Shoulder?

I just started having an intense pinched nerve feeling on the inside of my left shoulder blade that I can pretty much pinpoint. If I try to turn my head more than 90 degrees left or right I get this feeling on my left rib cage. This isn't any sort of heart related issue is it?
