What Causes Pinching And Burning Sensation In Navel Area?

The last week I ve had pinching sensation and burning in my navel area. I noticed a small squishy bump inside my bellybutton about the size of a dime. I also have pain on the outside of my belly button. The pain instantly started when I pulled down on a bungee cord to fasten a door open. Every time I lift anything over a few pounds I get the sensation. Standing is also very painful. What could this be?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From your complaints, it appears that you could have contacted with acute infection of navel area.
Kindly do the following to overcome your problem.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. Take Tablet. Ibuprofen 400mg twice daily after food for 5 days.
3. Apply Neomycin cream twice daily.
4. Keep the area clean and healthy.
