What Causes Pink Eye, Swelling Of Eyelids And Painful Bloodshot Eyes?
I have had pinkeye for over a week now. Swelling on both upper and lower eyelids, both bloodshot eyes, very painful, discharge is uncomfortable, and my lids and inside the eyes are very inflamed, but now I have a new problem... The area below my from my lower right eyelid down to gum, is swelling. It's very uncomfortable and it is painful. I have been on antibiotics (drops and ointment) but I feel as if it isn't really helping as I feel the infection is spreading.

they are separate. eye is effected with bacterial conjunctivitis use ofloxacin 3%eye drop 6hourly and neosporine eye ointment at bedtime. clean the discharge with sterile swab. get your gum and tooth checked by dental surgeon for diagnosis and treatment
