Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

According to the history given this could probably be an STD,if I were to see a similar patient in my clinic,I would:
1) Take detailed sexual history and history about the lesion
2) Order an STD panel
3) Then treat with antibiotics according to the illness detected
4) Next step would be to treat the partner

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Sagar Mudgal, Psychiatrist
