What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge After Having Contraceptive Implant?

Hi, I had the contraceptive implant put in about 4 or 5 months ago and it had settled pretty well but over the last week or so I have been having some pinky red discharge that I've not seen before, and was wondering if I should be worried or if this is normal for the implant? Thanks!
