hi
thank you for asking your concern madam and welcome to HCM. during the periods skin of vaginal wall becomes friable and blood circulation also increses during periods. in such situation intercourse can have friction over vaginal wall and some oozing of blood can happen. at the same time as you are saying of longer periods this may be residual bleeding before stoppage of bleeding. this blood can mix with the normal vaginal secretion and gives it pinkish color. you need not to worry about this and there is no need of any treatment as such now.
