What Causes Pins And Needle Sensation In Left Hand?

I had the coil fitted yesterday afternoon and I have woken up this morning with strong pins and needles in my left hand. I assumed I had laid on it during the night but 3 hours later it still feels the same. could this have anything to do with the coil
