What Causes Pins And Needles In Hands And Lower Arms?

Am on 7.5mg of Metthotrexate for last 9mths. Now seem to have pins and needles in hands and lower arms which occasionally wake me at night. Are they related? Thanks

Am a 45yr old female, slightly overweight with no other health issues other than rheumatoid arthritis. Go to the gym and walk regularly. Teach in a promary school.
