Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a chronic infection. The pins and needles in your fingers could be related to a spinal cord or nerve damage. Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:
- A cervical spinal cord MRI
- Aomplete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- Thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- Blood electrolytes
- Kidney and liver function tests
- A urine bacterial culture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
