What Causes Pins And Needles In The Penis With Difficulty During Urination?
Hi, I am 24 yr old male with a concern about my penis. Hurts to urinate; feels like I m peeing barbed wire or needles. The pain after urination is the same and lasts 15-20 mins, and is located in the tip. Added pressure to region causes the same type of pain even while not urinating. No other pain is present. No blood in urine, there may have been discharge at one point but it was hard to tell as it was mixed with urine. Also, a few days ago, after ejaculation I noticed a definite yellowish color to the usual clear/white. This has never happened before or since (that I ve noticed). Please get back to me asap as I m kind of freaking out! Thank you
The symptoms you mentioned are suggestive of urinary tract infection. I suggest you get an urine microbial and routine examination done. With the results consult your doctor. Depending on the results as well as other examination findings, your doctor will suggest you appropriate medicines. Make sure you drink sufficient amount of fluids and maintain hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
