What Causes Pins And Needles Like Contractions During Pregnancy?
I m 27 weeks pregnant but on my last visit I measured out to 28 weeks about two weeks ago it feels like the baby is kicking me in my rib cage and it s uncomfortable to sit up or lay back because when I lay back it feels like in suffercating and about to have a anxiety attack what should I do?? Also I been having contractions everyday that feels like pins and needles.
Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. I understand your concern. You will feel uncomfortable, no doubt if the baby starts kicking at the rib cage. You need to bear this for some time as the baby changes its position often. Make sure that you keep yourself well hydrated by taking plenty of fluids. Whenever you feel such a thing, you can lie down in the left lateral position for about 15 minutes to 30 minutes and relax by taking deep breaths. That should give you gradual relief from the problems you are facing. Regarding contractions feeling like pins and needles, you can take multivitamin capsules once a day for 15 days so that you will become better. You need to continue strictly what has been advised during your antenatal care. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
