What Causes Pins And Needles Pain From Arm To Fingers?

I had a pretty rough impact to my right elbow sliding on ice. After the impact my elbow shows no bruising or anything however moving it is painful and I have had pins and needles down my arm into my ring finger and pinky finger ever since. It has been about 12 hours. what do you think may be wrong? should i get an x ray
