What Causes Pins And Needles Sensation On The Foot?

Hi I am a female aged 68 and have had problem with my left foot with pins and needles (kind of) and a numbness feeling all the time, it started in my toes about 9 years ago and over the years has creeped up the sole of the foot. No one seems to know what the problem is, I have back, knee, leg, foot xrays/scans and no the doctor seems to think it is a lower back problem but the physio thinks it is not causing it all. I am on 150 mg Lyrica twice a day but does only bandage the problem and is only partly helping. Please help and advise me if you can, I am very sick of all this. Sandra Rafferty

It could be a part of peripheral neuropathy. If symptoms persist you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
