What Causes Pneumonia After Pregnancy?

Hi I gave birth to twins and lost them they had TTS and the build up of amniotic fluid was very server. 4 hours after giving birth I woke up with pneumonia and I was wondering if there could be a link with the pregnacy complications and the pneumonia (maybe the amnotic fliud build pushing on my lungs?). I hadn't smoke for 5 years before and durring my preganacy and I hadnt even been out the house much due to my condition.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion there is not any relation between pneumonia and pregnancy. It might be your low immunity status which made you to contact the infection and nothing much.Pushing up of amniotic fluid into lungs results in amniotic fluid embolism which is a medical emergency. So it is not the cause.Dont worry taking a course of antibiotics will cure the condition.Take nutritional diet and good rest.
