What Causes Poking Sensation In The Lower Abdomen?

I am getting a feeling in my left side lower abdomen like being poked. No pain. Can t feel anything like a lump. Just feels like something is there but I cant feel it. Lately I have to be careful eating fried foods. In the past year l have gotten sick with severe pains and diarrhea after eating fried foods. Could this be gallbladder problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Left lower side abdomen pain points towards diverticulitis like a problem.

For that antibiotic course prescribed.

It's also advisable to take a probiotic tablet and fiber supplements as well.

If no improvement than USG abdomen and stool routine micro examination should be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
