What Causes Polyp On The Vocal Chord?

Hi. My daughter is a jazz vocal student at the university of toronto. She was diagnosed with a polyp on her vocal chord in March by a Toronto specialist and is still awaiting a surgery date. Is there anywhere in Ontario where she can get the surgery before September? Thanks. YYYY@YYYY

Stress in voice causes it. Microlayrngeal surgey is needed for it. Nothing to worry. Give voice rest and wait for the surgery. No urgency required for this benign disease.
