What Causes Poor Appetite In A 3 Month Old Infant?

Hi Sir/ madam, I m having a 3 month old baby and she is exclusively on breastfeeding. Last week baby got cold n doctor adviced to give Cynaril. From then my baby reduced the no.of feeds. Suddenly I find there is a reduction in my breast milk. I want to feed my child only with my milk at least until 9 months. Kindly let me know if there are any medications to increase my breast milk. I ve started taking domstal n lactare as per my doctor s suggestion.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can consider getting a breast pump to help stimulate breast milk production in between feeds.

More frequent feeds is the best way to get increased milk production and if she is currently not feeding frequently, using the pump would as a substitute for now and keep milk production up.
Make sure to use enough fluids, this is also very important.

I hope this helps
