What Causes Poor Focus In One Eye?

Having trouble with focus in one eye. Seems like objects are fuzzy, slightly off color and smaller in size? I have been wearing reading glasses for the last year or so due to overall trouble with small print. This trouble with my one eye seemed to happen almost over night and has continued for a few days now.
