What Causes Poor Memory While On Rosuvastatin?

Just started taking Rosuvstatin 40 mg, and I notice my memory to recall names is worse than it ever was while taking Crestor. Is the generic worse in this area? Did not notice this with Crestor, have been taking the generic for about 6 weeks or so. Thank you.

Hello,

I do not think your memory trouble is because of Rosuvastatin drug. Crestor is the brand name of Rosuvastatin, but it is the same thing.

I would advise you to get yourself assessed by a neurologist to diagnose the problem. He may advise you an MRI and also do some tests.
