What Causes Poor Weight Gain In Infants?

my son is 8 months old he is not gaining weight fast enough he is being seen by a GI doctors since he was born we have changed his formula three times also he is acid reflux he is taking Prilosec since he was 2 months but for the last 6 months no vomiting but he still takes it plus vitamin with iron also he gets a spoonful of ducal added to what he eats his formula now is elecare he drinks it the doctor says he needs the calories so he gets 24 calories that s how I make the formula 3and a half to 6 oz he also eats regular food with no problem and the baby food but the weight gain is still slow he don t like to drink the milk and the doctor thinks he has a protein allergy also that s why he gets the elecare now she wants him to do genetic test and endocrimology testing his hormones for cf I am a stress mom please help

I really appreciate your concern, the child is just 8 months old and it is nothing to worry from now no need to be over conscious and because of this do not take any haphazard decision, but better to see the nice pediatrician, but best is just be patience and let the child grow little old, hope this information helps.
