What Causes Popping And Soreness In The Knee Post A Knee Surgery?

I had knee surgery for a torn miniscus about 4 years ago, I m 50 years old and a retired military vet, I never hurt my knee befor or never had any serious injuries to my knees. But my knee that I had surgery on pops when I bend it and sometimes I run 2 to 3 miles and it gets sore.... Sometimes to the point that I have stop running.... Can you tell me why my knee gets sore or why it pops.

Hi,

By your history and description, the possibility of OA (osteoarthritis) of that knee is more likely. So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and x-ray, MRI of that knee.

Another possibility is ligamental injury. MRI will also detect if ligamental injury is there. Don't worry, consult orthopedic doctor and discuss all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
