Hello,

Popping noise with pain in the ears are commonly due to wax, eustachian tube dysfunction, acute otitis media, etc. You are suggested not to enter swimming pools, be cautious while taking bath, let not the water enter your ears. You can apply Otorex ear drops 3-4 drops in the affected ear 2-3 times a day. The wax will get dissolved & flow out. Clean it with a soft cloth, do not use sharp objects, it may hurt your ears.

Once the wax is cleared out, dizziness will go away. However, get it clinically examined by an ENT, if the wax is hardened the ENT will have to wash and clean it in the OPD. Do not do it yourself. Take acetaminophen or Combiflam, one SOS after food to get relieve from pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
