What Causes Popping Sound Along With Echoes In The Ear?

I had popping sounds in my head and woke the next morning with deafness and echoing in my right ear. The right side of my head feels fullness. It has been over a month and it is still the same. Flying or swimming does not make it worse or cause pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Loss of hearing normally requires assessment as soon as possible to rule out the more serious causes.

It is possible that it may be due to sinus disease or eustachian tube dysfunction but other causes such as nerve (nerve to the ear) related causes need to be considered.

The eustachian tube is a passage in the ear that connects the middle ear to the part of the nasal passage.

It would be best for you to see an ENT doctor for assessment regarding your hearing.
This would include a history and examination of both ears particularly the right.

I hope this helps
