HI, I was weight lift last night on the leg press and when lifting I felt a pop at the top of my head, I stopped right away. I felt a bit funny but ok. today I have had a headache all day and have an area right at the top of my head just to the right where the headache is and it feels sort of cold on the inside? Should I be concerned?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that weight lifting or exertional activities momentarily raise your blood pressure which can be a popping feeling. It’s recommended for you to check your blood pressure and if it is more than 140/90 then consult your physician.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
