What Causes Positive Hpt After Taking Cytotec?

Ive taken 4 tab of cytotx orally then 2 again after 2 hours then an hour later another 2. Passing out some blood clot and the bleeding stops after 1 day. 10 days later the upt is still positive with strong double lines. Im still experiencing with breast twnderness, nousea, palpitation, but it seems my back ache has gone away. Is it possible that im still carrying the baby? Im almost in 12 weeks. Before taking the cytotex, ive taken 2 tab of diclofenac for pain killer. Thanks

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
There may be possibility of incomplete abortion.
In some case failure of abortion lead to abnormal development of pregnancy and pregnancy test showing positive,
Generally pregnancy test show negative result, 7-10 days after using pills.
Best to consult the gynecologist and undergo pelvic examination and pelvic sonography to confirm incomplete abortion and if it is there shold be treated by surgical method like auction evacuation and D & C.
