What Causes Possible Esotropia Or Squinting In 2 Year Old Child?

Dear Sir,

Our younger son in now 2 years and 6 months old. Since last one and half months , we are observing that, when ever he used to see long distance, his both eyes goes inwards.

Before that he was fine in everything. Born normal and good health as well. Please advise me, what may be the cause for the both eyes go inside.

Thanks and regards,

Biranchi

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
Squint is one of the common problems and requires evaluation.
The common causes are refractive errors, congenital and acquired ones.
However none of them are normal events and all cases of swuint warrant a evaluationby a ophthalmologist or preferably by a squint specialist and treatment accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
