Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

Regarding your query for post nasal drip, I would like to say that any allergic or infective disease of nose, paranasal sinuses & nasopharynx will give rise to post nasal drip. Various diseases are as-

1- NOSE - Allergic rhinitis.
- Rhinitis.

2- PARANASAL SINUSES- Sinusitis.
- Anterochonal polyp.
- Ethmoidal polyp.

3- NASOPHARYNX- Adenoidal hypertrophy.
- Nasopharyngeal fibroma.
- Tumours of nasopharynx (benign & malignant).

All above are the common diseases giving rise to post nasal drip. If this is not managed than it will cause recurrent sore throat and tonsillitis.

Probably your query is answered.

Regards.
