What Causes Postauricular Blood Oozing After Tympanoplasty?

My 5 y/o had a Tympanoplasty about 1 week ago and the postauricular incision (behind the ear) was doing great until earlier today we noticed a slight bit of blood and oozing at the postauricular incision site . It has stopped. Should this be a concern?
