What Causes Postnasal Drip At Night?
I am having difficulty sleeping at night, or during the day too, because of what feels like a collection of something in the back of my throat. It causes me to either cough or clear my throat, thus keeping me awake. I am 62 years old, female, no known allergies ever, and otherwise very healthy. What could this irritation be?

Post nasal drip while sleeping could be due to sinusitis, allergy etc. I suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
